Iranian Parliamentary Delegation Meets with Senior Indian Officials

The parliamentary delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which travelled to New Delhi to participate in the 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum 2026, held meetings with Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India; Dr. S. Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister; and senior Indian parliamentarian Shashi Tharoor on Monday, 26 October, on the sidelines of the forum.
These meetings underscored the importance of bilateral relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and India, as well as the commitment of officials from both countries to developing and strengthening parliamentary cooperation and expanding bilateral ties.
