Dr. Chegeni: The impressive monuments such as Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri and Humayun Tomb are among the finest examples of the synthesis of Indo-Iranian style in architecture

H.E Mr. Chegeni, Ambassador of I. R. Iran, Attends Seminar on Iranian-Indian Art & Architecture

Dr. Chegeni, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to India, attended the Seminar on Iranian-Indian Art & Architecture on 4th December 2018. This seminar was organized by Jamia Millia University, New Delhi. In this seminar, Dr. Chegeni stressed, "I would like to emphasize on the phrase of "Indo-Persian culture" which implies mutual interaction....The impressive monuments such as Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri and Humayun Tomb are among the finest examples of the synthesis of Indo-Iranian style in architecture. So there has been a mutual cultural accommodation which we have every right to be proud of...To be sure, these civilizational ties are the cornerstone for drawing a multi-dimensional and long- standing relation."
